Paul C. Moulinie, MD, FACC
Chief, Division of Cardiology
Board-certified in both cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine, Dr. Moulinie is a graduate of the St. Georges University School of Medicine in Granada. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut, where he also served as chief resident, and a fellowship in adult cardiology at New York Medical College, St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center of New York.

A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Moulinie is also a member of the American Society of Internal Medicine. In addition to his role as Chief of the Division of Cardiology at Huntington Hospital, Dr. Moulinie manages a busy private cardiology practice. A strong proponent of treating the entire person rather than just the disease, Dr. Moulinie also serves as Director of Huntington Hospital’s Center for Complementary Care where healthcare professionals assist patients with stress management strategies and offer techniques such as meditation and yoga.


Raj Patcha, MD, FACC, FCCP
Director, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
Board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, critical care, interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Patcha completed his residency in internal medicine at Cooper Medical Center, Rutgers Clinical Campus, in New Jersey. He completed his fellowship in cardiology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at North Shore University Hospital/Manhasset, New York University School of Medicine.

In addition to his role as Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Huntington Hospital, Dr. Patcha is Director of the Interventional Cardiology Program at Huntington. He is also on staff at both North Shore University Hospital/Manhasset and St. Francis Hospital in Port Washington where he is an attending interventional cardiologist. Dr. Patcha is a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and a fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Chest Physicians.


Paul C. Maccaro, MD, FCCP
Director of Arrhythmia Services
Board-certified in electrophysiology, cardiovascular diseases, and internal medicine, Dr. Maccaro is a graduate of Polytechnic Institute of New York. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn and completed his residency in internal medicine at both Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset where he also served as chief resident. Also at North Shore/Manhasset, Dr. Maccaro completed fellowships in both cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.

In addition to his role as Director of Arrhythmia Services at Huntington Hospital, Dr. Maccaro services as Chair of the hospital’s Institutional Review Board. A Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and an instructor of medicine at New York University School of Medicine, Dr. Maccaro is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society, the American Heart Association, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.


Kent Stephenson, MD, MPH, CCDS
Electrophysiology

Board-certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine, Dr. Stephenson earned a masters degree in public health from Harvard University. A graduate of Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Stephenson completed his residency in internal medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital and a cardiology research fellowship at Rockefeller University/Mount Sinai University Hospital. While in Boston, Dr. Stephenson also completed a fellowship in medicine at Harvard University School of Medicine, as well as fellowships in both cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Stephenson is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society of America and is a Diplomat of the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE).


Jeffrey S. Weigers, BA, RN, BSN, CNA
Director of Cardiac Services
A registered nurse with more than 20 years of experience in cardiovascular nursing, Mr. Weigers is a graduate of both Colgate University (BA-biology) and Adelphi University School of Nursing. Prior to joining the Huntington Hospital team, Mr. Weigers was Assistant Director of Nursing for Invasive Cardiology at Stony Brook University Medical Center. He was recruited to Huntington in 2000 to help launch the hospital’s innovative cardiac services program.

From the cardiac catheterization labs to the electrophysiology labs to the other cardiac services treatment areas, Mr. Weigers ensures that services run smoothly in order to provide patients with the best possible care in a welcoming environment.
