Support Services

Ensuring our patients receive the best care possible before, after, and during their procedure is of the utmost importance to us. Huntington Hospital provides a host of support services that help prepare patients for scheduled interventions and monitor them closely afterwards.

The Anticoagulation Center

We’re committed to making sure patients experience a safe transition to their interventional cardiology procedure. Our Anticoagulation Center manages of a variety of anticoagulation medications in both inpatient and outpatient settings in order to decrease the incidence of bleeding/clotting complications.

Highly skilled nurse practitioners with years of cardiology experience are available to guide patients through anticoagulation therapy and ensure the best possible outcome.

We serve as a resource for health care providers, patients, and community centers to facilitate the appropriate administration of blood-thinning medications before, during, and after surgery.

WomenHeart of Huntington Support Group

WomenHeart of Huntington offers support and education for women living with heart disease. The group meets the fourth Monday of each month in the Dolan Family Health Center from 2:00-3:30 PM. For more information please call 1 (855) 855-4448.
