Honoring Douglas Partrick

Douglas Patrick

Huntington native Doug Partrick, owner of Heatherwood Luxury Rentals, has been named the honoree of the 2018 Huntington Hospital Golf Classic.

Mr. Partrick was born and raised in Huntington just blocks from the hospital. His ties to Huntington Hospital began with his mother, Virginia, a 30-year volunteer at the hospital, one with more than 47,000 volunteer hours who also served on the hospital’s board of trustees.

“My wife Violetta and I have been very impressed with Dr. Gerard Brogan’s leadership and approach at Huntington Hospital; that has helped fuel our desire to continue to philanthropically support the hospital,” Mr. Partrick said.

Funds raised from the 2018 Huntington Hospital Golf Classic will go toward the hospital’s interventional radiology, wound care and hyperbaric programs. Mr. Partrick, who believes in the need to “constantly reinvest in yourself to modernize technology,” is eager to help the hospital raise funds to continue to innovate with new programs for our community.

“We greatly appreciate Doug and his family’s generosity and commitment to Huntington Hospital and look forward to another successful outing this year,” said Gerard X. Brogan, Jr., MD, FACEP, executive director of Huntington Hospital.

Heatherwood Luxury Rentals is a multi-family housing company with properties on Long Island and in New York City that has been in business for more than 60 years.
