NEW YORK, NY — Northwell Health raised $3 million at its annual Constellation Gala — formerly known as the Autumn Ball — which was held on November 16 at the American Museum of Natural History. The signature event celebrated the history of innovation and achievements at Northwell Health’s Manhattan care facilities that have transformed health care throughout the country.

Proceeds from the Constellation Gala will help advance services and programs at Lenox Hill Hospital, Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital and Lenox Health Greenwich Village and provide Manhattan communities with greater access to higher-quality care.

“A history of excellence and innovation is woven into the fabric of Northwell Health, Lenox Hill and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat hospitals, and Lenox Health Greenwich Village,” said Michael Dowling, president and CEO, Northwell Health. “These institutions have driven some of the most important health care advances in our country. Along with our growing roster of urgent care centers, physician practices — and with the philanthropic support of our donors — we will continue to expand our footprint and improve health care across our region.”

WCBS-TV co-anchor Chris Wragge was Master of Ceremonies, and Tony award-winning icon, Idina Menzel, highlighted the evening’s program.

The Constellation Gala Dinner Committee’s dynamic roster comprises a number of New York City leaders whose specialties span across the fields of medicine, publishing, media, philanthropy and the arts, and includes Ellen Crown, dinner chair. The generous support of Donald Zucker & Barbara Hrbek Zucker helped make this evening possible.
